Cheryl Bornheimer-Kelley Becomes Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer

LENEXA, Kansas, December 13, 2018 – Cheryl Bornheimer-Kelley, Project Engineer for McClure’s Transportation Group, has passed the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer® (PTOE) exam to become one of 48 engineers with this certification in the State of Kansas.

“Cheryl passing the PTOE exam is not only a testament to her talent and knowledge as a traffic engineer but is also another confirmation of the expertise McClure brings to the table every day to help our clients with their projects,” said Jay Burress, Project Manager for McClure’s Transportation Group.

To be certified as a PTOE, an engineer must have four years of Professional Engineering experience, hold a valid license in civil, mechanical, electrical, or general engineering, and attain a passing score on the PTOE exam.

The PTOE certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), and approximately 3,300 individuals worldwide hold the certification.
