COLUMBIA, Missouri, February 26, 2019 – Staci Bowlen has joined McClure, a Midwest-based Engineering, Surveying, and Planning firm, as Project Coordinator for the Structures Group and Office Administrator for the Columbia, Missouri office.
Bowlen’s role will be helping the engineers with the ‘behind the scenes’ organization and project oversight. She will be assisting with the accounting functions, data entry, and with the needs of the office.
“Prior to applying for the Project Coordinator position, I visited McClure’s website and was intrigued and motivated by the mission, vision, and core values. They are prominent within this company a
nd I could not be more excited to be part of this team,” said Bowlen.
The majority of Bowlen’s career has been in non-profit disability services and consulting. She has held non-profit leadership positions for many years, including Vice President for a large, statewide provider of disability services, and served as Executive Director for a local agency. Bowlen has spent most of her career advocating for the rights of people with disabilities and helping her community understand the benefits of inclusiveness for people with special needs.
At McClure, Bowlen will be taking on a much different role, but her time in the non-profit sector will be an asset. “I am confident that I will be able to utilize my skills to support this team in many different ways,” Bowlen said. “I am most excited to be doing something different at McClure. After many years in the non-profit world of business, I am looking forward to learning more about engineering.”
Bowlen holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Counseling from Missouri Valley College and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership from Stephens College.
