Nick Timberlake Earns P.E. License
COLUMBIA, Missouri, February 9, 2018 – Columbia, Missouri native Nick Timberlake, of McClure Engineering Co. passed the Professional Engineering (PE) exam to become a licensed Professional Engineer.
“Nick is eager to learn everything he can to be an incredible engineer. He regularly volunteers to take on any task to make our team stronger. He is a fantastic asset to our team and I can’t wait to see his career develop,” said Chris Sander, P.E., Project Manager. “Nick is a valued member of our team, and has played an important role in our growth in the Columbia Region.”
To become a Professional Engineer, an individual must attain a four-year college degree, pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, complete four years of professional experience, and pass the PE exam.
Timberlake brings the vision of building strong communities to life, “I pursued engineering because I realize the importance of buildings and their ability to form the identity and culture of their community and I want to play a role in that formation.”
Timberlake has been with McClure Engineering Company for a year and a half as part of the Civil Team in Columbia, Missouri. “I enjoy the endless stream of challenges that this job offers,” Timberlake said, “but I get the greatest amount of fulfillment from working in teams and with clients to build awesome, tangible developments that will benefit the community and its residents for generations to come.”
