McClure produces safe and efficient designs for commercial and residential structures using cold-formed steel. Working with the latest industry standards and design methods, our engineers understand the unique aspects and applications for cold-formed steel framing. Light-frame construction primarily forms the vertical and horizontal structural elements via a system of repetitive framing members. Cold-formed steel framing has been used successfully in building projects greater than 10 stories in height, and the steel framing lends itself to architectural layouts where the floor and roof systems are supported on bearing walls.
