LENEXA, Kansas, June 11, 2020 – Jason DeWald has joined the McClure team as a Transportation Project Manager.

DeWald’s experience includes highway and rail bridge design, track design, structural design, project management, business development, construction management, and construction estimating. Prior to joining the McClure team, DeWald gained valuable experience at various firms throughout the Kansas Metro. Some career highlights include inspection for US 169 widening project from Spring Hill to Paola, designing numerous rail projects for Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF), Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), Kansas City Terminal Railway (KCT), and Kansas City Southern (KCS), and working on structural components for military, railroad, airports, and grain and agricultural facilities.

In his role, DeWald will use his diverse experience to assist multiple McClure teams on a variety of projects.

“After talking to the McClure team about the opportunity, I decided to join because it just felt right,” said DeWald. “Everything from the culture to the variety of projects really seemed to align with where I wanted to be both personally and professionally.​”

DeWald has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida.
