Terry has nearly 40 years of civil engineering experience, and has grown McClure by focusing on building strong communities to make the lives of our clients better. Throughout his career, Terry has worked with private and municipal clients on utility and infrastructure improvement programs.
Dennis has more than 40 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing/sales, operations, retail, leadership, and people/culture development. Since joining McClure he has been instrumental in facilitating company growth through mentoring.
Dan has been an invaluable leader within McClure since 2014. He has nearly thirty years of accounting experience, which proves to be a huge asset to McClure. During Dan’s time at McClure, the firm has been named to the Inc. 5000 three years in a row (‘16, ‘17, ‘18).
VP - Transportation
Troy has over eighteen years of experience with the Iowa Department of Transportation. In his career, he has served as a Transportation Engineer, Field Exam/Pre-Design Engineer, Senior Transportation Engineer (Office of Traffic and Safety), Assistant District Engineer, and District Engineer.
VP - Water Resources
With 19+ years of experience, Derick has been involved in many types of public municipal projects including project management, design, construction administration and construction inspection. He is focused on municipal projects involving complex infrastructure improvements.
VP - Development Services
Matt’s experience includes civil/site development, master planning, engineering studies, roadway design, streetscape enhancements, and utility infrastructure improvements. He also manages public and private sector projects, performs quality control plan review, and oversees the day-to-day operations of his design team.
VP - Structures
Cody has vast design experience in structural engineering including multistory steel structures, structures with irregular lateral systems, high seismic, multi-story wood construction, multi-story cold-formed steel structures, and DOD blast resistant design, among many others.
Principal of Community Planning
With 10+ years of placemaking and community development experience, Zachary has a thorough understanding of what it takes to make a community unique in order to grow population and economic development. He has gained extensive experience in Iowa including founding and running the Des Moines Social Club (DMSC), a model in how creative and entrepreneurial concepts can lead a city toward national recognition.
VP - Business Development
As vice president of business development for McClure’s infrastructure and development services departments, Mike understands how to assist clients and service communities. He has more than 12 years of city planning and community development experience with public and private sector clients.
Human Resources Officer
Erica serves as a strong partner with operations and support a variety of people-first initiatives. At McClure, Erica hires and retains the best team members. Her primary role is to help grow our people and create an environment for teammates to develop their careers.
Director of Operations
While at MEC, Rose has served many different functions in the realms of accounting, business operations, and office administration. Rose’s primary role is to create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success and alignment.
At McClure, Chris is responsible for the accuracy of the financial data through strengthening the budgeting process and internal controls, as well as leveraging his accounting manufacturing background to improve processes. He has more than six years of experience as Assistant Controller at a major Midwest convenience store chain, and three years as Controller for a career guidance solutions provider.
