D.D. NO. 69
A survey and field investigation of the area revealed the District tile system could only operate at 1/8” drainage coefficient (25% of the recommended 1/2” drainage coefficient). A televising crew was also used to determine the tile was 20% silted in, further reducing the system’s capacity.
McClure presented multiple repair and improvement options to the Board and District landowners. A relief line was installed to gain capacity and continue to use the existing infrastructure. Also a sited portion of the main ditch was cleaned to improve upstream flow.
Throughout the project, McClure provided the District with an engineering report, public hearing presentations, construction staking/inspection/administration and a reclassification report.
